A "Must-Have" For Dr. Demento Lovers.......2007-04-20
Unbeknownst to my conservative mother, my brother and I (born in the late 60's) listened to a wonderful radio program called "Dr. Demento" growing up. I told my mother about that recently, and her remark was that if she had known it was on the radio, she wouldn't have let us listen to it! LOL Anyhow, this collection has the vast majority of MY old favorites, such as the otherwise unavailable "Existential Blues", and many others unfamiliar to me to enjoy. It comes in two CD's of 18 songs each. I have happily imported it into my iPod and can't wait to hear everything!

I used to have this CD collection back in college, and something recently reminded me of a song and I knew exactly where to buy it. I am very pleased with this collection of songs.

Just missing "Shaving Cream".......2007-01-18
I purchased this as a gift for my Dr. Demento-loving husband and we have both greatly enjoyed it. I was not so familiar as my husband was with many of the songs - not having access, as he did, to a Dr. Demento radio show growing up, but it has not mattered. You only need to hear these songs once (and have a good sense of humor) to become a lifelong fan.
Lots of Material. A great comedy primer........2007-01-12
Sad to say that there are more naughty songs on here than I would care to have. It makes it a hard cd to just give to my kids to listen to. However, there are some some great things on here that are worth skipping a few tracks. Boot to the Head, Star Trekkin and Gitarzan (a happy surprise) are all favorites.
