Shameless unapologetic unpretentious Arabic-Spanish pop. There are "Gypsy Kings" flourishes, from flamenco guitars hurled over a frantic disco beat. My all time favorites are the wonderfully camp versions of "Guantanamera" by Cecilia Gayle and "Hotel California" by Los Fernandos which I first heard in the film the "Big Lebowski." For those who prefer their world fusion albums subtle contemplative and ponderous. This is not for you. This is for the disco-babies who regret the passing of The "Gibson Brothers' "Shalamar" and "Earth Wind and Fire". Furiously fast paced and unrelentingly upbeat, this is a real party album.
