Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Smooth voice. . ........2004-01-06

If I had heard "Tal Cual Es" before I heard "Un Mundo Diferente," I would have given this CD a 5 stars rating. Unfortunately, I heard "Un Mundo Diferente" first and I gave it a 5 stars rating. This 1999 CD isn't as good as his latest release. That being said, "Tal Cual Es" is still an outstanding CD.

Now that I've heard this CD and "Un Mundo Diferente," I can say that I'm a fan of DIEGO TORRES and I'm looking forward to his future CDs since he seems to be getting better as he ages.

5 out of 5 stars Great CD.......2001-07-03

This CD is wonderful. A must have for the spanish lover, and so much more.

5 out of 5 stars iAy, Que Caliente!.......2001-01-11

I first heard "La ultima noche" last year in Puerto Rico, and I fell in love with the song. I found the CD and fell in love with the rest of the songs--not to mention that Diego isn't too bad to look at either. The album is very latin jazzy, but not too jazzy, and not too latin pop-ish either. It's simplemente perfecto!

5 out of 5 stars WOW.......2000-09-16

After spending time in Barcelona and the Costa Brava, I wanted some music to take home to remind me of Spain, what an excellent choice! Jazz with a Latin twist, great rhythm, wonderful voice. Even though I don't speak Spanish I can enjoy the songs and the memories they bring. I can't wait for his next album.

5 out of 5 stars wow wow wow.......2000-07-23

The first time I heard of Diego was from his addition on Calle Ocho shown on Univision in spring 2000. The song, La ultima noche fascinated me, and it was so beautiful. I still don't know much about this cantante, but I saw the cd and it grabbed my temption. I was not at all disappointed. I had never heard any songs except for the one mentioned by Torres, and most of the songs are so beautiful. His voice is spunky, romantic, deep, and beautiful. He is very talented, and you feel the realness of his music when he sings. A perfect cd to relax to. I am looking forward to getting to know Mr. Torres further! I was glad to see him in People en espanol's most beautiful people, b/c he is not just pretty on the outside, but what comes out when he sings is also the cure to one's mind. Enjoy!
