I HAD NEVER HEARD DESPUES DE AMARLE BEFORE UNTIL HE SANG THIS SONG ON BIG BROTHER, PRIMER TONTO ITS ANOTHER GREAT SONG, I LIKE THE WAY HE SINGS IT, YOU SHOULD ALSO HEAR CALLADOS, FEATURING NINEL CONDE HIS GIRLFRIEND, ALSO FROM BIG BROTHER VIP MEXICO.

despues de que mire a jose manuel en cristan canto la cancion ''sin sal ni limo" me gusto mucho por que fue lo que me estaba pasando en ese tiempo con mi ex novio y sea me ayaudar mucho a vivr sin el.

I saw Jose Manuel on "Sabado Gigante" singing "Mala Hierba" and was impressed enough to order this CD immediately. He's a great looking man with a stage presence to match and a pleasing voice with a quality that can sound sweet and gentle at times. Though he dresses "TexMex" the only track that sounds it is "La Fama del Muchacho"...the others are more in a "tropical" style with some baladas thrown in.

All the material for this CD was written by Joan Sebastian, and my favorites are "Mala Hierba", "Alza el Vuelo", and "Sin Sal ni Limón"...I find a couple of the baladas are the weak link in this recording, but I'm giving it 5 stars anyway...it's a CD that grows on you, and I hope to hear and see much more of this singer in the future.
