singer carla visi made cheiro de amor big in Brazil.......2002-06-17

it was Carla Visi, the gorgeous and talent singer who replace Marcia Friere for this cd and 4 others, that made the band a #1 band in Brazil...topping the charts along stalwart Gal Costa and the reigning queens such as Daniela Mercury and Ivete Sangalo.
Unfortunately, the last cd with Carla Visi, another live cd entitled "Festa de Cheiro" (ao vivo #2) has still to be available here in N.Am.
After that, CARLA VISI left the band to go solo. She has a fabulous solo cd out in Brazil, but yet again, nothing here in
N.Am.
So, what gives? Do we have to wait ages before we get the best from Brazil?
Meanwhile, you will have to go to Brasil to get all 4 of the band's cd that featured the fabulous vocals of CARAL VISI...
E DEMAIS, ME CHAMA, AO VIVO, AO VIVO 2(festa de cheiro).

"Me chama" e um CD muito bom. As cancoes tem uma mistura sensual que faz a gente dancar e lembrar dissos tempos na praia com uma namorada. Pra gente que ta comecando ouvir a musica Brasileira e aprendendo a lingua Portuguesa, acho que vao ficar muito contentes da alegria que o CD traz, e o facil que e entender as palavras cantadas por essa voz de Carla que tem uma docura encantadora.

My friend FORCED me to listen! I never thought that I would love Brasilian music. I can't stop listening to this CD. This is like nothing else I've ever heard of. A must buy. Who cares what they're saying - the beat, music, partying, pure pleasure. This was my first time listening to Brasilian music. I can't wait to hear more of her music. A MUST HAVE!
