Excellent dinner background music, or forefront music!.......1999-10-20

I can remember as a young boy/man learning to play the organ. My father would always bring me tapes of Juan Torres playing various songs on his organ. I lived in El Paso, Texas at the time and we used to cross the border into Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico to go out to eat dinner. There was one restaurant in Juarez, Uncle Julio's Cafe Corona, where they had an organist playing for the diners. It was wonderful background music and this is how I remember Juan Torres' music to be. I only wish that ALL of the albums he released were available. He did beautiful renditions of "Ebb Tide" and "Tenderly", and especially his rendition of "Meditation." It's funny, but 30 years later I'm still listening to Juan Torres at age 41. You won't regret buying his albums. JR in Dallas, Texas
