My respects go to the late Bebu Silvetti, who was and always will be a big name in Latin American music, and of course they go to the maestro Armando Manzanero who has never sounded better. Sr. Manzanero's music should sound like this, the soft jazz touch of Sr. Silvetti and that unique passionate tone that is Manzanero's. The only defect is that these musical geniuses leave the listener wanting more knowing that the maestro has composed, by now 500+ beautiful boleros. He and Sr. Silvetti give us only 12 songs, 2 of which are 2 songs fused as one, and there are familiar classics of Manzanero, but the majority are new ones. Simplicity is always the key to elegance, and this CD is elegant in its basic accompaniment of a rhythm section (bass and drum set) and the piano, with romanticism to the max. Every fan of Armando Manzanero should own this CD.
