This is a star-studded, brilliantly performed and produced album of some of the more famous Cuban classics. Old songs have been re-interpreted by a combination of top level musicians from different generations, among which Chucho Valdes and Isaac Delgado stand out. Richard Egues defined the Cuban style of flute playing and wrote some of the country's most famous songs. This album is a deserved tribute to one of Latin-American music's greatest stars.
