This CD is a wonderful collection of some of the hottest tejano songs to ever come out. I can never get enough of Selena's hit song, "La Carcacha" or the jalopy, if translated to english. Roel Martinez, has a foot moving song "A Mover El Bote". Now, if you want to really dance, I recommend La Tropa F- "Juan Sabor", I can never get enough of that accordion filled song or the video. The video is all about getting ready for a big dance and having fun, which is exactly what the song is all about. "Maria Kantu" by Joe Bravo, is a song to make you laugh, because he's making fun of a girl named Maria Kantu who should brush her teeth with shampoo!! It's a fun song, but hilarious. "Micaela" by La Diferenzia is sung by the sexy Ricardo Castillon, it's suave and fun to sing along to if you can keep up with him. "Ay Amor" by Shelly Lares or better know in the Tejano industry as little miss dynomite, is cumbia-riffic, she's always a sure bet to a hit song, and she delivers with this song. "De Noche Y Dia" by Culturas is a good cumbia with Delia Gonzales' soft lovely voice.
Of course you can never ever go wrong with the group Mazz, their song "Mazz Cumbias", is so fun, you just want to sing along with them. In this cd it is a recording of them in concert and a mix of different cumbias in one song, it is the longest song in this whole cd about 9 minutes long, very cool. "En Las Garras De Tu Corazon" by Intocable is another good cumbia to listen to. "Lagrimas" by La Tropa F is another enjoyable cumbia they churned out. You know the phrase-"the best for last", well that's exactly what they did here. The last song on this cd is "Chikitiki Poom" by the group "Oxygeno", it was a very big hit when it came out and it was majorly played in the clubs, I know, I remember dancing to it! The video for it is fun, but it takes place in someones backyard pool with a lot of girls trying to dance under a hot sun. It's almost funny, but it was alright. Overall, I enjoyed this cd filled with many of Tejano's talented artists. I would highly recommend this to everyone and anyone.
