5 out of 5 stars A great and eclectic recording with great voices and drums........1998-10-09

One of the most important quality of this cd is the great level of recording of the bata and conga drums and how distinctive are the parts of each of them. Great for understanding the high level of intricacy of the bata drums (iya, itotele and okonkolo) playing together. I must also salute the sensiblity and quality of the interpretation of those traditional sacred compositions and an innovative part to elegua that mixed amazingly bata and conga drums.
