Undoubtedly a talented player, but Correa shows questionable taste on several volumes of this "Cuerdas, Amor, y Guitarra" series. Strong melodies abound, but there is little improvisation, no surprises, and nothing to perk up the ears of a discriminating listener. Conservative music for folks with an eye and an ear in the past. It would be interesting to hear Correa play something more challenging and more original.

One of the smoothest easiest listening guitars I've ever heard. I play this and another of his when I have dinner guests who don't care for classical music. This isn't classical, but it isn't elevator music, either. He plays with a full size orchestra and chorus which blends so well you are not aware when it enters. Good solid rhythms and melodies.
