Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Banda Mexicano= the next Beatles!!.......2004-06-29

What do you get when you mix the vocals of Billy Corgan, the bass play of Slash and the funky stylings of Ace of Base? A lil piece of Heaven :Banda Mexicano!! These Mexican Icons have outdone themselves with their latest album "Haste Rico o Matate Tratando". Its clearly the best of their 87 previous albums. I havent heard a buzz for a cd in Mexico since Chabelo dropped his "Sgt.Pepper and the Lonely Tamales Fight Club". The first track is a straight up love anthem called "Ven Mamame los Huevos pinche Perra". With lyrics like "Te voy a cachetiar con mi pito para que se te quite lo huevona", youre sure to get in smooth with that special someone. And the hottest joint off this piece is "De La Colonia" where Luis Javier Guerrero battles 50Cent with bombs like "Salieron de Brooklyn Heights, los edentes de Tijuana, buscaban al Gato Felix y al Lloyd Banks/ G-G-G-G-Unit, I grew up on the Oaxacan desert, it was no joke, I used to gank Tecat' from Abarrotes Shop, me cagaba en un ollo" Wow!! Lyrical genius!! Buy this album before it goes out of stock!!! These cats are just like Radiohead except theyre not Rock and theyre not English and theyre not that good.
