Salsabor!!.......2006-02-18

This has got the energy of a live album. A rare treat! I havent tired of it, and after ten years it is still in my top 5 salsa albums. The musicos are on fire and the salseros are very expressive, feeding on one other (the duet concept is terrific for this).

Too bad these days salsa (or whatever flavour-of-the-week it is called these days) is recorded on a computer, sounding slick but soul-less. But this CD is the real thing, amigo. It is accessible, commercial and full of sabor. Long live Sergio George! Too bad RMM has disbanded.

Trivia: this was recorded in a post-Arsenio-Hall era, as you can hear the characteristic "ooh ooh ooh" during the applause at the end of some tunes (you can just imagine the old fist waving then and there :-)

One of the "BEST SALSA" albums. Believe it!!!.......2006-01-28

This is one of the best albums of salsa ever put together. It's got rich sound, and voices that make your body move. While other CD's have maybe two three great songs, every song on this album from start to finish will take you on a tropical journey. No need for the skip button on this CD. Just pop it in sit back and listen. If you have never bought a salsa album buy this one! If you love salsa buy this one! If want to move to the rythem ... "You know the rest!"

The Perfect Combination! The title of this CD describes it perfectly. This is the one CD that Salsa lovers should not be without. Celia Cruz, Oscar D'Leon, Tito Puente, Marc Anthony, India...All great names in the world of Salsa. Hearing them sing together is a once in a lifetime event. There is nothing better than this CD, except seeing them live.
