There are two kinds of styles you can get from a Ramsey Lewis Trio album. There's studio recorded albums: tame, yet swingin'
(what I prefer), and live albums: wild and crazy, where the trio just plays to the audience. I kind of don't like that because the trio doesn't play musically. They kinda just play for the crowd and standing ovations. But, songs from this cd are good. Why are The Trio's classic albums not issued on cds?

Jazz at its purist. Ramsey Lewis has a talent like no other. If you love jazz piano, you will love this album. I have finally found him again after 30 years! His was my very first jazz album I baught when I was 16 years old. Then came Dave Brubeck and TAKE FIVE. But Ramsey was my first!
