One of DC's Finest.......2003-06-25

At long last I have found this recording from one of DC's most accomplished guitarists. The well crafted songs and flawless execution speak volumes for Danny's musical prowess. The compositions range from more sedate to playful and complex jazz pieces. If you have ever seen Dan play live in one of his many guises, you know first-hand his total command of the instrument, this debut solo recording should help spread the hype about on of the areas best talents.

Carefully thought out and executed to perfection. Dan Leonard demonstrates a mastery of the guitar that most aspire to have and few truly achieve. A love of craft can only produce the breadth of technique, execution, and writing capability demonstrated throughout this CD. TIME ALONE is without repetitious sound or soloing and clearly captures a range of personal emotion and life experiences expressed through music. I highly recommend Dan's CD for jazz enthusiast and guitarist alike.
