Lonnie Plaxico, genius bassist who worked as the musical director of Cassandra Wilson for recent years, released very interesting jazz/funk album. Based on the feeling of 70's jazzy funk, his music is progressive and diverse. With his elegant and funky bass play, we can feel the fun of music as well as the sound that is some way futuristic. We recognize that Lonnie Plaxico loves music and share that love with listeners. We dance to his music; at the same time, we will know how qualified his composition is. The sound is not commercial but totally enjoyable.
