John Klemmer's Cry.......2000-09-20

Wow. What a recording. I have owned this recording since I was in high school. My father let me record his LP. Recently I bought the CD and it's still incredible. Klemmer does such wonderful things with an echoplex and a saxophone. Whether you're looking for a romantic song or a fun song to drive to, this CD has it. The 1st song, Intimacy, is lovely. The title song, Cry, gets your blood pumping. And for all of you boppers and post-boppers and lovers of traditional jazz, check out what John does with the very elegant 'Round Midnight. This CD is one to enjoy for years to come.
