This collection of six diverse jazz talents is a joy to listen to and swing to, from big band to trio. There are no breakthroughs or innovations going on, but joyous and exhuberant performances nonetheless. I especially liked the piano and organ trios of Ahmad Jamal and Wild Bill Davis. This is music anyone can enjoy, or even dance to. Okeh had a great roster of blues, R&B, jazz and rock artists.
