The musicians are:
Benny Carter, Milt Jackson, Joe Pass, Tommy Flanagan, and John B. Williams / Jake Hanna alternate on drums.
Like the Verve "3, 4, 5 Small Group Sessions", every track is perfect. The musicians are different however, and the mix of Joe Pass and Tommy Flanagan with Benny Carter is more unusual than a "blended" style. This recording, along with the Art Tatum "The Complete Pablo Group Masterpieces" are tied for my 2nd favorite recordings of Benny Carter.
