4 out of 5 stars The Ron Carter progression..........2001-10-16

As a bassist myself, I am a huge Ron Carter fan. The first half of this album however rather dissappointed me. It doesnt really kick into until "Bomb Dia." From there on in I am in love. The bass takes more of a backdrop with some exquisite solo's showing Ron's prowess on double bass and piccolo bass
