This is a quote from Stan Dunn of the National Jazz Radio Network, who went on to praise this not very well-known singer. The album is actually a very interesting combination of a few well chosen standard, compositions by others with original lyrics by Mr. Lellis, and a few of his own compositions. I really hesitate to be the first to review this, as I'm not an expert in this field, but I found this to be a very enjoyable CD. Beautifully recorded, arranged and sung! The only similar artist I could think of was Harry Connick, Jr., but I think Mr. Lellis is better.
