Every time I listen to this cd I find new dimensions in the music, not just from the compositions, but also from the musicians who play on it. Theberge has succeeded in creating highly original, interesting and above all musical forms which give his musicians a great deal of freedom of interpretetion and creativity. The recording quality is fantastic, very real and not overly produced to give a true and alive representation of Theberge's vision. This music swings! It embraces the tradition of jazz without falling into any cliches or banalities. Francois Theberge has put together a great combination of musical personalities, he has a true, honest and original voice in playing and composing I cannot reccommend it highly enough.
