In this age of hip hop and other electronic distractions, there is some great music. This record is an example of great music ignored. 10 years from now as the hip hoppers age and their musical tastes mature, they will re-discover music such as this. Music that is played by real musicians, and is not a loop.
This is one of Gil Evans finest efforts which will stand the test of time and will outlive all hip hop.
