Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Yet another outstanding Juber collection, just as he plays it live. .......2005-10-08

Some time ago I acquired Laurence Juber's "Guitarist" CD and as a result I became a fan.

Last night, I had the honor of watching Mr. Juber play in a very intimate setting. I sat five feet from him for 2 hours and remained basically mesmerized the entire time. He played several of the songs from his Mosaic CD with amazing precision. They included Cobalt Blue, Mosaic, Stolen Glances, When Harry got to Heaven and The White Pass Trail.

That night I purchased his Mosaic CD from him (among others)and listened to it this morning. The songs on this CD are outstanding and played exactly as he plays them live. The difference being that on the CD he is accompanied with a little percussion on some tracks. Either way it makes for excellent listening if you are a solo guitar fan.

Laurence Juber is clearly a virtuoso on the guitar. He tends to close his eyes when he is playing and seems to become part of the guitar (or vice versa). It shows in his playing. The guitar simply seems to do his bidding. Well worth a listen.

5 out of 5 stars Wonderful!.......2000-07-14

A musical journey of unmatched beauty and talent.

5 out of 5 stars DITTO...the other review is right on..buy this and LJ!.......1999-10-12

both Mosaic and Jubers other CD "LJ" are loaded with infectious melodies, driving playing, and beautiful sound. Instrumental Acoustic Guitar has a new star!

5 out of 5 stars An Excellent Jazz-Blues-Folk CD.......1999-01-10

Laurence Juber's "Mosaic" CD will not disappoint you. It continues the acoustic ensemble format that be began with "LJ," and it succeeds once again. This CD, like "LJ", is a definite buy.
