Compilation.......2000-08-12

This is a collection from a couple of Burrell LPs from the 60's. Most or all of "The Tender Gender" is here, and would be reason enough to grab this CD. Great stuff from the most musical, soulfull and by far the hippest jazz guitarist yet.

Soulero - good but not great.......2000-06-23

I bought this cd after listening to Kenny Burrell and John Coltrane (which is phenomenal). It has its moments, but is not a great cd. Burrell's playing is ok, but with the horns in the rhythm section, it;s just hard for me to listen. There are many great Burrell albums out there; this isn't one of them
