This Cd is one of the best 80s party funk Cds you will ever find!
If you like Lakeside, Kool & The Gang, Dazz Band and other 80s funk bands, you will love this Cd.
The music on "Distant Lover" is party funk and features heavyweight players such as saxophonists Michael Brecker and Tom Scott, bassists Nathan East and Stanley Clarke, guitarist Paul Jackson Jr. as well as jazz/funk legend Herbie Hancock on keyboards.
Alphonse Mouzon sings on a few tracks and plays keyboard - and funky!
If you need a funky album you also want to play when you have a party, get this highly underrated party funk masterpiece!
