Buddy Rich is not the greatest jazz drummer on earth... He's the greatest drummer PERIOD... This is the first Buddy Rich CD I bought, and I LOVE IT. Buddy's version of Birdland is awesome and so is Funk City-o-la!! All of Buddy's tracks are great and Woody Herman's are definetly worth listening too... If you have a remote interest in jazz, or if you just started listening to it, this is one of the best CDs to buy to get you started!!!!!!
