Endlessly amazing.......2005-07-01

Simply one of the most intellectually, emotionally & aesthetically satisfying jazz discs I have ever heard (fidelity aside). I've listened to a lot of good (and not so inspired) jazz over 35 years and this is top shelf. Tristano had an original compositional & improvisational pianistic voice & said things most definitely worth listening to. His work, his ideas, the feelings, unfold & leave me shaking my head in amazement.
