A great straight ahead jazz album. Mr. Beckett is a new and exciting addition to the jazz world. I was delighted by his take on two standards in the jazz book, (Hammerhead and Once Forgotten) Tunes that I've played and know very well. His take on them made them both fresh and extremely enjoyable. Do yourself a favor especially if you are new to Jazz. Buy this album.
