Customer Reviews:

1 out of 5 stars Disappointed on your second go 'round.......2004-03-03

A much as I loved Kim Waters first Streetwize, this one was very disappointing. It seems as though they didn't think this one out as well as the first one, or maybe it was the songs they chose to remake. Either way, you can tell that it wasn't as good of a production as the first one. The background singers are horrible! Even the CD cover looks homemade. Usually I listen to a few cuts off a CD before I buy it, but I was in the music store, saw this and figured I wouldn't go wrong because of the first one they did, but boy was I wrong! If Kim plans to do a third, I suggest concentrating on quality and style. It makes a big difference in your production. This CD was a waste of my money.

4 out of 5 stars Good CD.......2003-06-09

I'm a DJ and I play mostly Jazz, Blues and R&B and the Streetwize CD's are very popular with older crouds and get lots of requests.

2 out of 5 stars No hidden beach here..........2003-05-26

only 2 or 3 cuts on this baby are good, Just look at the cover of the CD, and it tells you "We gotta get this out quick"
Take your time next time Kim & Company!

1 out of 5 stars HORRID.......2003-04-19

...This CD is [bad.] This is simply the worst CD I have heard in memory. I loved Missy's song "Work It" the title track but it is destroyed here by what sounds to be children playing with toy instruments. Did real musicians make this record?? Did adults supervise?? HORRID I TELL YOU. I will never buy a record based on a song title again. EVER. If you want to buy a copy only played one time click above for my used copy.
