Typical Siegel.......2001-05-20

Unfortunately, Dan Siegel's music hasn't received near the airplay that several other artists that perform that same type of music have received. I began listening to him back in the early 80's and now most of that material is unavailble. I was reminded of him due to the fact that he has released a collection CD. As for this CD it is mainly up tempo Jazz. It is fairly reminiscent of Alex Bugnon, Jeff Lorber, with even a hint of the Rippingtons. If you enjoy these artists you will enjoy this CD. I don't really care for the songs with vocals, but that's what "skip" functions are for. Overall, this is a fairly good CD, but probably not his best.
