Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Music that was a long time in the making!.......2005-06-01

Ron Fattorusso has been working in the music business for over 20 years. Why it has taken him so long to make a CD, I'm not sure. It's probably because he's been in so much demand during that span of time. With the help of fellow musician, Gary Farr, "Up All Night" is a testament of his years of service. His CD features a mix of different genres such as Latin, R&B, Reggae & Calypso. His style will remind you of Jay Beckenstein of the group Spyro Gyra. His sax playing is crisp and clean. I enjoyed the track, "Thanks, Grover", which was named after the late great sax player Grover Washington, Jr. This is a wonderful recording that was better late than never!

5 out of 5 stars Well Deserved Recognition.......2004-04-20

I have known Ron for many years
In all that time I have had great appreciation for the style of music He plays. Ron ranks right up there with the best to have been heard.
He has always fits right in to any place or peice of music
He plays.
His heart and soul is most definately expressed in the reed.
This Cd is exciting, soothing and relaxing compelation of extremly well written and produced work of what Ron is made most up of.
It's hard for me to name a favorite ,because I enjoy listening to the CD from begining to end every time I put it in the player.
My seven year old even loves to listen to it.
Hats off to you Ron hope you put out more soon.
This is your moment.

4 out of 5 stars Versatile and Gentle Jazz.......2004-04-19

I was given this CD by a friend of mine,Margaret, who enjoyed it. I admit that this is not the music I usually listen to; however, Margaret's thoughts on it were compelling and I decided to note them here:

Ron Fattorusso is a versatile artist with a gentle touch. The instrumentation is very well thought out and balanced. The saxophone, being one of the instruments of romance, has definitely found some great compositions to show off in. Ron creates a mood that is conducive to concentrating on one's work, on the latest novel or on the road ahead. Up All Night could keep you up all night in a soothing way.
