Customer Reviews:
Magnificent live recording.......1999-09-24
According to the liner notes, the material on the CD wasn't released in the 60s. Living in the 90s has its advantages it seems. I always preferred Art Blakey's live recordings because I think they are much better and fresher. The songs on this CD are no exception to this rule (even though the studio version of "Ping Pong" is hard to beat).
