5 out of 5 stars Stokely of Mint Condition Makes this a 5 Star Selection.......2005-12-17

Some of our most favorite songs aren't easy to find. Some sublime songs stick to you for years after you've heard them. For some reason, they aren't available for downloading in an mp3 format. Some outstanding CD warehouses have a supply of such CDs and songs. Something told me to buy this album. Someone oughta listen to Make Me Say it Again over and over and feel your troubles melt away; some 6 or 7 minutes of lovely crooning! Someday I will thank my lucky stars for Stokely's presence on this earth and his talents. Someday is tonight. Superb. Simply superb.

5 out of 5 stars The 6th Man: Ghostly And Great!.......2005-02-27

THE SIXTH MAN SOUNDTRACK IS THE BEST!! NO LIE! this a must have fo that ol 90s type of vibe, blended in with rap/R&B, the beats, the bass, the lyrics... everthings tight. I see a lot of people gave sovory's "deeper than blood" lots of credit. WHICH IT DESERSES! (get sovory album too. self titled)but they act like thats it. check out jade's "keep on risin" THIS IS A HOT TRACK! the best on da album to me. smooth beat smooth vocals ranks right up there with deeper than blood. but still everthing is geart. "like this and like that" is a good start wit lakeisha singing. difinitely a 90s feel to it. "superstition" (remix)kickd some of doug E. fresh best lyrics. tight. "tasty" got a TIGHT beat tight vocals. "make me say it again girl" is a classic. da illest man is my least favorite track cause while da beat is great his rappin wasn't the best it could have been. "down and dirty" "invisble" "all he sopposed to be" "bumpin coasties" "get up" "trouble" (dinfinite ol school here)all have there own exellent individual status."anything can happen" is an intrumental(the theme song from the movie) but is one of da best here. Also the MOVIE ITSELF was great. most of these are exclusive to the soundtrack so ya won't find em on any no where else but STILL CHECK OUT ALL the artists albums Sovory, Jade(jade to the max)Pharcyde fo sho.pick this up soon as ya can PEACE!

4 out of 5 stars THIS IS JUST FOR STOKLEY, BUT IT WAS WORTH IT!!!.......2001-06-02

The soundtrack would've been just a'ight if it weren't for Stokley's SMOOOOOTH remake of the Isley Brother's "Make Me Say It again Girl." WOOOOOOO-WEEEEE!!!! If you don't know, Stokley is the lead singer for R&B band Mint Condition, and what he does to this song makes my toes curl!!!!! AAAHHHH SUKI SUKI NOW!! The soundtrack was worth it for him alone (I would buy practically anything with his voice on it, personally:Brotherman got SKILLS!!). This would be the perfect "back at the crib" slow jam!!!!

5 out of 5 stars Great Sountrack With Songs For Everybody.......2000-08-30

This CD is a great compilation which has a variety of music styles that keep it interesting. On one end of the spectrum you have songs like "Superstition" and "Tasty" which give it a funky hip-hop side. On the other end you have songs like "Deeper Than Blood" that supply the dramatic, soulful side of the CD.

Overall I would say this is a good buy for R+B/Hip-Hop fans.

4 out of 5 stars great cd.......1999-08-12

this is an excellent CD. if you've ever seen the movie, the song that's played during antoine's memorial (deeper than blood), is enough reason to buy this CD. I love it, i'd reccomend it to anyone
