Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Satchmo-riffic!.......2007-01-12

The Jim Cullum band really tears it up on this one!! This is probably one of the best traditional jazz bands in existence, and this is my favorite album the have produced. I have seen them in San Antonio many times and always go away happy. Their West End Blues on this, playing in unison, is just sensational.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

5 out of 5 stars Outstanding!.......1999-06-06

This may be a little tainted because I have seen them live but this CD is outstanding. It isnt very often that every song on a CD is great and these are. This one was recommended to me by the band personally when I was at "Jim Cullums Landing" (San Antonio Texas RiverWalk, there home base). If you are the least bit interested, you wont be unhappy with it. I paid 25 bucks for it in the Landing, this is a steal! If you are still unsure, they broadcast live from the landing every weekday on almost every public radio station worldwide, seek them out and listen for yourself.
