Haven't gotten tired of it yet!.......2000-11-01

I listen to this almost every morning over a cup of coffee and a journal and Bible; There doesn't seem to be a better way of starting the day. Torres' music does not interfere or become annoying as you do other things, but sometimes I do find myself just sitting back from the books and revelling in the sheer beauty of the compositions. I also recommend Humberto Ramirez' "Aspects" (latin-jazz trumpet)and Editus' "Calles y Vientos" (jazz/classical violin-guitar-percussion) VERY highly!!

Conoc?a a Nestor Torres el 21 de julio en el Festival de Jazz y Ribbs en Columbus Ohio junto a Kenny G; no lo conoc?a y compr? el album Treasures of Heart y qued? fascinado. Lo escucho todos los dias y m?s la pieza Treasures of heart que transporta a uno a las nostalgias de infancia, la distancia, y recuerdos de ayer. fantastic,remids me of the beach on sunday.......1999-08-25

I love wind instruments and this cd renews my love for the sound. Music is truly the food of life. It is so restful yet vibrant. A must have. Remids me of his performance at the St. Lucia jazz festival in 5/99. Keep up the good work, we need cds like this to continue to live in today's world. PEACE.
