I am not the most knowledgable when it comes to big band and swing, however I know what I enjoy. This one will keep your fingers and toes tapping all the way through. Classic BB/swing with the best of the new technology and sound quality. If you are just getting into this kind of music, or are looking for a great addition to your collection, I encourage you to give this group a try.

Is an pleasure review this fantastic cd of Tony,i have in my
big band collection your previous cds,really splendids but this
new REAL TIME is superb!,from the wonderful bass trombone solo
of Matt Ingman in the first tune until the last song In a Mello
Tone are an fantastic repertory,yes are classic tunes,but with
the own touch of the fantastic Corbiscello Big Band,splendids
arrangements,fabolous musicians with an brilliant big band sound
and great tons of feeling,swing and big band music!!!.In my
opinion is one cd indispensable in every big band collection,
and one great Cd for discovery the music,the art and the talent
of Tony Corbiscello,and one great pleasure for the lovers and
gourmets of the first class big band music!.Enjoy it!!!!!

After a three year hiatus the Tony Corbiscello Big Band is back in stride. "Time". "Time". "Time". it's Count Basie meets Si Zentner meets Les Brown. Right on target. If you can't dance to this one you better check your pulse, because your DEAD!
It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing...and this CD has it all the way. From Matt Ingman's opening Bass trombone masterpiece on "You Better Love Me" to the tasteful production of (Buddy Rich Alumni) Alan Gauvin. This CD is fresh every time you press the play button.

I have to tell you all look no further for your swing injection. This is the band that put swing back into the N.Y.C. scene. The engine behind this band is Tony Corbiscello and his rhythm section. His choice of personnel is outstanding.
