Excellent introduction to Urban Knights.......2003-01-10
I don't know why it has taken me so long to do a review on this I have had it since it came out. Wonderful CD at least 5 GREAT Songs on this CD. It was my first Urban Knights CD since then I have purchased 3 more and this still is my favorite one. It's a wonder it has been found on many Jazz enthusiasts Listmania Lists here on Amazon.
As I say in all of my Music reviews, (please take the time to browse them)everyone has their own "ear" for music and the Radio Station out here that plays smooth Jazz played the "heck" out of Track #6 "Sweet Home Chicago" (which is a excellent Cha Cha song BTW) and also I really grooved to track #5 "Strung Out" slow mellow song for those of us who can identify LOL I usually like a good variety on my CD's a combination of slow songs and songs I can jump up and dance to....... this CD did not let me down. This whole CD is one that on a day that you want to put some CD's in the mixer and kick back. Put the player on random and ENJOY ((smile))

Nice.......2001-07-05
I like #5 as well as the others, but when I played #5 the tune just stuck in my mind..
Oh How Pleasant It Is............2001-02-23
I first heard this cd in the barber shop and I knew I had to have it. The beautiful sounds that came from the radio as the songs drifted just put me in a trance. I have throughly enjoyed this cd and I hope to hear more from the Urban Knights collection. I must say that my favorite song on the cd was Strung out. It is something about that song that stands out in my mind. I reccomend this for people that love music as much as I do.
Urban Knights 3 a hit with me.......2000-10-05
Naw I'm not a poet... but the music that I heard on this arrangment gave me plenty of inspiration for my writing. I listed it in my acknowlegments of my book under suggested listening for the mental sountrack while reading my book. I hope everyone picks up the CD. It's mood setting and I just loved the diversity of it. Cut #2.. was great. I'm a romance writer and it was an great cut for setting the scene. But my FAVO.. oh FAVO... was cut #6... man I put it on repeat SO many times... Soulful, soulful, soulful. Put me in a totally GROOVY place.
