A decent early effort.......2006-09-11

This cd was pretty good. I enjoyed most of the songs on here, especially "Endless Summer Nights" & "Nothing But The Radio On".
I would recommend this for diehard DK fans, otherwise, get "Saxophonic". It's his best, in my opinion & I have all his cds.

Dave Koz is great!.......2006-02-16

I was just introduced to Dave's music by a friend and have enjoyed it so much I went out and bought two other of his CD's. I can listen to his music at work, home or in the car. Thank you, Dave, for your gift of music.

Smooth & Funky & Mellow.......2004-04-10

This saxman is maybe a follower of DAVID SANBORN.I suppose that he respects him in many ways. The arranger of this CD is JEFF LORBER.That's why the contents of these music is electronically funky and vocal oriented.But the problem is DAVE KOZ doesn't have his sinature sound approach here.His too powerful and monotonous blow makes me a little bit sloopy.So overall JEFF LORBER'S arrangement helps the weak point of this CD.
Not an excellent album, but a kitchin BGM. I recommend this CD to all the people who want to have fun in the kitchen.

My favorite CD.......2003-05-10

Usually, musicians' debut CD's are not the greatest. Dave Koz is the exception. Two of my all-time favorite songs, Perfect Stranger and Give it Up are on this CD. Also good are Emily, Endless Summer Nights and Love of My Life. Dave brings a funky, pop feel to these songs that Kenny G could never do. If you buy one smooth jazz CD, get this one.

Not a Jazz fan?`.......2002-06-08

Me, neither. But one of my friends had this cd, and I thought I'd pop it in because my name is the title of track 2. I got hooked. Jazz isn't my favorite, but this CD is awesome. Saxophones are incredible by themselves, but Dave Koz is invincible. Definitely a first rate buy. Go for it!
