music so wonderful reminds me of my early age.............2006-03-26

Eventhough some of the music in this cd is quite pleasing to one's ear...for me this simply added to my collection of Paul Mauriat most treasured musics.I kept 5 of them(audio cassettes) some date back to 60's or 70's and others which seems came from nowhere as they were given to me by a tourist friends.I have Paul Mauriat 'Bresil' and the arrangement of'The Beattles'by Paul Mauriat(all cassettes) as well.Paul Mauriat And His Orchestra Deluxe Collection 16 Albums (1966-1972).Paul Mauriat Cent Mille Chansons / Gone Is Love.Paul Mauriat Uplifting Music.(all audio cds)The'Paul Mauriat French Pops Best Selection easy listening is probably the most nice I have ever heard. Others simply the usual classical songs and contemporaries.My only problem is how to keep them last as audio cassette won't last for hundreds of years.I intend to transfer this music to cds but don't know how as I'm not very good in this sort of things.I think its helpfull to have someone to figure this out for me so that some old music will be preserve for the next generation of fans to come.

THIS IS THE FIRST PRODUCT GOTTEN FROM AMAZON THAT FOUND AUDIO PRETTY LOW; I DECIDED NOT RETURN IT BECAUSE TOOK ME LONG TO GET IT. ANYWAY THANKS

Revisionist History.......2004-02-24

I was very excited when I saw this disc in the store because I had always loved Paul's version of Love Is Blue. I had worn out at least a dozen copies of the Phillips 45 over the years. However, when I got this disc home, I learned that the version of Love Is Blue that is on it is NOT the same one that got all the air play and was a hit. It's a very different mix, possibly a different performance. The horns and strings are very wrong, not at all what was on the original "hit", and the drumming isn't what was on the original either.

If there's a version of Paul Mauriat's "HIT" Love Is Blue on CD, this isn't it.

Recommended for Mauriat listeners.......2000-08-01

This CD is very enjoyable. Next to Blooming Hits, this is the best Mauriat music I have. Some of the songs may not be the originals but it is good music just the same. I agree with other views that have been left, they need to bring out Blooming Hits on CD again, it will be a good seller.

GREAT compilation of popular music.......2000-06-23

I wrote a review of this CD earlier based solely on the sample of Love is Blue (review titled: NOT Original Version of Love is Blue...). Well, I finally ordered this CD and got it yesterday. I spoke too soon! I think this CD is magnificent. True enough, "Love is Blue" is not the original from the 45, but it is an outstanding version of the song. The sound quality is equally outstanding. And the other selections are just GREAT! A very nice collection (and high quality sound) of easy listening music that I highly recommend to everyone!
