Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars CD .. Kenny G.......2007-01-05

Very quick service ... even though the cover was cracked, the CD is fine ... thanks

1 out of 5 stars I made a poop from which this album emerged.......2006-10-02

where do i start??...... kenny g is a horrible saxophonist and a waste of space that does not deserve to be making cd's -- every song is the same and his tone is horrible !!! If you want to hear lameass music that has no musical form or structure than feel free to buy this , but before you do check out boney james -- now thats a good sax player!!!:)

1 out of 5 stars Jazz ?.......2006-01-07

Something that really pisses me off is that everybody who give 5-stars to Kenny G. say he is the greatest jazz musician. You make two mistakes: first Kenny G himself says he doesn't play jazz and he has very limited musical skills.I bet you are not even musicians , so how can you evaluate his skills? Personally I spend 5 hours (often more) everyday listening to true jazz masters (John Coltrane , Wes Mongomery , Kenny Burell , Grant Green , Charlie Christian , Django Reinhardt , ... ) and trying to imitate their sound and style , so I know what I am talking about a little bit more than a bunch of lame-ass housewives who listen to "jazz" once a week when they are sitting in their tub with their latest gardener (or plumber or whatsoever).Sad but true.

5 out of 5 stars Kenny G.......2005-12-11

Now I'll admit alot of Kenny G's music is background music. I am a big fan of Kenny G and found that listening to his music that if you listen really closely his sound echoes, such as one of his most popular like Songbird. Songbird is a really bad echoing. But I'll admit Kenny G's music does relieve stress. It is soothing to listen to this music. And although he does background music like this on his album that doesn't mean he doesn't perform good at his concerts and stuff. I was also passing through some other reviews and one of them talked about how this wasn't a good greatest hits. I can agree with that. Where is "Esther" at and "The wedding song" and many others. I'll admit Kenny G is not the best jazz artists. If you want good jazz artists I'll tell you. Soul ballet just came out with one called Dream Ballet Dream, although soul ballet is really not a saxophone type but more of a piano. Ya'll should check that out. Listen to their music from Kenny G's, notice there music doesn't echo alot, telling you that this is not music being played in the background. Another artists is James Vargas, he's not known by many people but ya'll should check him out also. I listen to his album about everyday. It is really good. I love it. Also you might wanna check out Nils and Greg Adams. There good too, also Boney James if you don't know about him and Pamela willaims, she's a good woman jazz artists. That's just too name some. There are many others out there. Go to smoothjazz.com and click on top 50 chart. That sight will tell you about some very good jazz artists for all you people who are locked in to Kenny G. But I ask you please check out James Vargas, that's the link. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0002DRE4A/qid=1134271677/sr=8-1/ref=pd_bbs_1/104-7687008-6756715?v=glance&s=music&n=507846, he is trying to get his 1st album promoted and i figured out about him from Xm radio, the channel is Watercolors, his album is self titled James Vargas and he is pretty soothing to the ears, rather then listening to Kenny G. And please I ask you I am just posting my opinon about what I think about this album, I'm not trying to start up anything or nothing like that.

5 out of 5 stars Easy-Listening Masterpiece.......2005-10-11

This Greatest Hits album from Kenny G. is a good way to waste a day, relaxing, reading a good book by the fire place, and things of that sort. It is not upbeat, and can sometimes seem rather repetitive, but it is good, calming music to listen to. It is good music, and just because many of you who say this man has no talent are probably jealous that you can't even play the triangle in tune. He may not be the greatest musician in the world, but he sure can play a mean sax.
