The Real Deal.......2005-11-09

I had the opportunity to see Mr. Zepeda perform close up, and he is truly amazing! You've never heard anything quite like what he does. This CD comes close to capturing the joy and mystery of what it's like to see him do his thing. I joked with him about his music being "New Age" and he said, "No - this is Old Age music." In his way, he is the keeper of a very sacred & ancient flame. Check it out!!

Antonio Zepeda is one of the most important researchers on Mesoamerican music in all over Latin America. He also has four more titles besides these two shown on here. Get this CD and take a mystic journey to the prehispanic past of America (and I mean the continent). His work also includes research on Aztec poetry. Antonio Zepeda... a proudly Mexican artist.

Antonio Zepeda is one of the most important researchers of Mesoamerican music in all over Latin American. His work is marvelous and I recommend this CD to all people that liked to take a journey to the past. It will help you understand the concept of music that prehispanic cultures had, based on nature elements.
