If you are looking for a recording of the EXACT "Third Man" tune you listened while watching that eternal movie masterpiece, this CD is what you are looking for. The whole CD is enjoyable, even if I did not find the other tracks as compelling as the famous Harry Lime theme. Most of them sound a bit too "popular". The kind of music you may enjoy while sipping a drink in a Central European cafe', but nothing memorable. Still, I honestly think that the Harry Lime these is worth the price!

IF YOUR ROOTS LIE IN BAVARIA, THEN YOU KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT WITH THIS CD. THIS MUSIC IS THE KIND YOU EXPERIENCE IN THE SMALLER GASTHAUSES IN BAVARIA, NOT THE OMP PAH MUSIC MOST ASSOCIATED WITH THE OKTOBERFEST. THAT MUSIC IS OF COURSE WONDERFUL, BUT THIS CD CAPTURES THE HEART. MY ENTIRE FAMILY ON MY MOM'S SIDE RESIDES IN REGENSBURG, GERMANY AND THEY ACTUALLY PLAY THIS MUSIC!! YOU WILL ENJOY THIS MUSIC AS IT CAN BRING BACK MANY WONDERFUL MEMORIES OF A LAND THAT IS A HOME AWAY FROM HOME.
