Like the other reviewer, I bought this CD because of Nanni Moretti's movie, The Son's Room. La farfalla is my favourite song and the song that I bought the CD for, Insieme a te non ci sto piý, a Paolo Conte original comes in as a close second. I could definately do without Nel 2025, the Euro-trash version of the old, awful song In The Year 2025. Close your eyes, pretend you're on a Vespa riding through the Roman suburbs highlighted in Moretti's Caro Diario and all of a sudden, most complaints you could have regarding Caselli will fade. Ciao.

I bought this for one song, "Insieme a te non ci sto Piu" which I heard on a web-site for the Italian film, "La Stanza del Figlio." I had no idea what the rest of the CD would be like, but I love it! My favorite tracks are "La farfalla," and "Spero di Svegliarmi Presto" but considering I bought it for one song,I like most everything on it. And the tracks I didn't particularly like at first grow on one at each listening. A few of the songs are rather dated, but if you like music from the 60s and 70s, and/or Italian pop you'll love this CD. Caselli's voice is beautiful, and changes with each song, expressing each nuance of feeling. She manages to sound incredibly sexy in "Bagnata come un pulcino," as well as wistfully sad, and totally carefree in various others. It was completely worth the chance I took!
