5 out of 5 stars Incredible.......2002-01-03

Claudio Baglioni is my favorite Italian artist, he is incredibly talented & although he's been singing for some time now, he will always surprise us with his newest creations, he creates new styles & it's always a wonderful discovery to listen to him. I could listen to this CD 24 hrs a day, the more you listen to it the more you like it. The knowledge of the Italian language is a plus, but it's not that important for this CD, just let the music & the words get to you & enjoy! When I can't sleep, I take my Discman & just let my mind drift away while listening to this very special CD, it is awesome, & it's been such a great help. I don't know many songs that would work that way too. I wish it was easier to get it, but it's worth waiting for it! Although Claudio Baglioni isn't very well known in the US, he's extremely famous in Italia, he gave a few concerts in Rome last Summer & friends of mine went to all concerts, he's that incredible! Don't let this exceptional CD go without listening to it..

4 out of 5 stars A great come back from Claudio Baglioni.......2001-04-12

There he goes again, a great new album from Claudio. For decades this talented italian singer has been able to perform in a very consistent way through the years. This time he surprises me, what a change from his past albums, but he is as talented as always, so this recent production is a very good choice for those who like and appreciate moderate tempo music. ENJOY IT, TILL HE RELEASES A NEW ONE!!!

5 out of 5 stars Claudio's back in form.......2000-04-13

Happy 51, Claudio. We should all look so good and sing so well at 40. Admittedly, I was somewhat disappointed by Claudio's last studio outing IO SONO QUI; it seemed pretentious and far too operatic for a young looking guy (still) who excels so well in the pop idiom. This LP, however, is rather seamless and tight, with some inventive electronic instrumentation augmented with the usual array of talent Claudio attracts. Really, if you don't understand Italian, don't let that detract you: this guy is SO talented and SO appealing on so many levels. Why Eros Ramozzotti gets so much stateside attention and Claudio goes unknown baffles me. He's the finest romantic Italy has to export these days, a great songscraftsman who can incorporate modern styles without sounding like an old fool (imagine the male equivalent of Joni Mitchell - always hip). I like almost every cut on VIAGGIATORE: I only wish I could catch Claudio live in concert. Unfortunately, this country settles for Mariah Carey and Michael Bolton.
