The main reason I purchased this CD was because of my mother. Growing up in a mexican environment it's amazing how certain things bring you back home and such. I listen to this music and not only does it remind me of my mother but also of the memories I had in the backyard at the family lands in Guadalajara. Although I wasn't around when this kind of music was first launched I can't help but be fascinated by the romantic beats and not to mention the lyrics behind the music. It makes me wish that music were like it was back then.. making more sense than today's so called poetry. This music embraced love and desire as it should be.
I'm ashamed to admit that I ended up keeping the CD instead of giving it to my mom. LOL ... sorry mom I'll make it up.
