We've heard "New Age Celtic." This is fresh, all new, acoustic music that will surprise you: "New Age African" (called "African- inspired, California-grown"). Haunting, joyful, and moving all at once. Reminds me of Baca Beyond's "The Meeting Pool." Ma Boukaka's Congolese vocals are like deep blue velvet. International ensemble weaves original improvisational music together with traditional Congolese and West African musical ideas. Vocals, world hand drums, percussion, xylimba, kalimba, alto recorder, and more.
