Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Wish I'd found this Sooner!.......2005-07-07

I just acquired a copy of Everytown and wish I'd found it when it was released, because I've missed two years of some of the most beautiful tunes and musical arrangements I've ever heard. Yes, Everytown is for everyone but if you're over 40, it's a walk down memory lane that makes you feel young and vibrant again. The reminiscences of a younger, freer life on "Girls in Their Summer Dresses," "Beneath the Open Sky," "Walls come Tumbling Down" and "The Last Hurrah" paint both a musical and mental picture that takes you back to your most positive youthful memories. It's a nostalgic journey with great modern rhythms, meaningful lyrics, exquisite vocals and skillful musical performances and arrangements. After hearing their arrangement of "I've just seen a Face" you have a tendency to forget the original. If I could take "Everytown" intravenously each day, it might just succeed in reversing the aging process! Besides, it's great to have a composer who can make an allusion to Gable and Colbert that not only fits beautifully into the song, but also has significant meaning for those of us who actually remember who they were. This CD will be given to everyone on my winter holiday list this year!! And please don't make us wait too long for the next one.

5 out of 5 stars Rocky rocks!.......2004-01-02

Everytown is for everyone. The only thing better than Rocky, Chad & Neal on CD is to see them LIVE. Check their website: www.rockymaffit.com.
