Awesome CD! Even if you don't understand German you can appreciate Claudia Jung's rich voice. If you're just learning German, you'll appreciate that not only is Jung's voice great to listen to music-wise, she's also easy to understand lyric-wise.

The style is mostly toward the pop side, but some of the songs swing back to a nearly country feel ("Wenn Du Mich Beruehrst"). It's a good mix and it's well balanced. The only down side of this album? Once you're hooked, you'll be hard pressed to find more than a handful more of Claudia's CDs on Amazon.com. You'll have to wressle with international shipping from Amazon.de.

4 out of 5 stars Do You Miss ABBA?.......2003-12-14

Claudia Jung, both in vocal style and musical arrangements, is delightfully reminiscent of the ABBA girls, and a number of my friends who do not understand German always react with an ABBA-related comment when the hear her Cds in my car. This is pure pop music, and you don't have to understand German to love Claudia. She's my current Guilty pleasure.
