4 out of 5 stars My First Record from Japan..........2006-04-09

Ok, this record by Afra isn't my first Japanese cd actually.. A relative of mine who have been a DJ for about 15 years got the CD for me during a trip to Japan. Afra is a great human beat box. Comparing him to Rahzel, Biz Markie, Fat Boyz etc, he does his job really good. Afra's beat boxing at the DMC finals in Tokyo is crazy and people who love human beat boxing will go nuts when they hear him dropping the classic Wu-Tang stuff!

As always, non-english hiphop can be a bit strange. I don't understand French, but still I enjoy Saian Supa Crew's flow and beats. The same goes for Afra. The Japanese lyrics are "a bit hard" to understand but the flow and the beats compensate em'.

If you are tired of classic American underground hiphop give this record a try and you will probably start digging for more Japanese hiphop!
